The Bay Citizen is a new nonprofit media organization in San Francisco. Our mission is to enhance quality civic and community news coverage in the Bay Area, stimulate innovation in journalism, and foster civic engagement.
On May 26, our website (www.baycitizen.org) is launching with original multimedia news about the Bay Area. Shortly after that, The New York Times will start printing our news in their Bay Area editions on Friday and Sunday.
